They were quickly forgotten and only got a revival in the 2000s with a re-release of her music. This director better not even try to attempt to do another documentary. Once I discovered her music, I fell in love. It's clear that Ms. Davis has people that love her deeply and I hope that in whatever way that is meaningful to each, that that connection is made palpable to each party.
