The low fish oil return from catches wouldn't be so bad if the fish spawned more often but they're pretty infrequent and so makes it quite a drawn out process to catch some fish which will get boring really quickly.... it also wouldn't be so bad if I didn't get every other session causing me to do zero damage to the fish. Let me understand. Think about what archwing means for  the plains. Make sense. but gating combat and movement behind it just beyond reason. That's like making bullet glide cost fish oil. does it matter? Your warframe is a mechanical oiled machine... Boogers arent enough to oilup ur warframe.. Obviously DE doesn't  want 6 months of development to go to waste because you can fly anywhere at any time. They appear in deposits that can be "mined" with attacks, with the amount of Iradite being tied to the area's level range. The higher level the mission you take on the Plains, the more Grokdrul the player will obtain from drums, up to 5 per drum on the highest level missions. its not oil for your archwing its oil for the beacon. T ink of a game, any game, that just let's you fly back and  forth in a non fast travel, non air battle setting before you're level 60 or something and most of the content you cross over is irrelevant. Nope, but I'd love to hear them explain how come, I can pull an Archwing seemingly from my tin &#! in a secret Grineer base, resting at the bottom of an ocean, but at the same time I need some fish oil beacon, to call down an Archwing in open plains (no pun intended), where there is nothing but empty space separating me from it. I don't think its a problem, its just a resource, you're thinking too hard into it Wait, how do you already know those crafting requirements? That would then be more an issue of the game design to not make it just that. Needing fish oil in order to summon our Archwing. If you bring the fish to Fisher Hai-Luk in Cetus, then you can choose the “Cut Fish” option to raise your catch of material. Man I couldn't have said it better. I don't really like the fishing in this game and I was wondering if you could buy it somewhere. It takes three days for the clantech to become available, and we aren't even 24 hours into the UPDATE that brought it Obviously DE doesn't  want 6 months of development to go to waste because you can fly anywhere at any time. Hard to tell if some have sarcasm levels so high I'm not detecting it, or if they'd really be OK with a game mode being added where you have to do jumping jacks as the Operator for 45 minutes to warm up before you can play a game mode that you were promised in all the flashy trailers.

I agree fish oil is daft. Yes, you can trade fish directly with other players and turn them for their parts, oil and scales at the fish merchant at cetus but I certainly agree that it should be a once-off crafting for a permenant device. What I would like even less is Archwing specific scenarios, which is what threads like these would push DE towards. ofcourse the beacons will be used with plains specific materials anyway. Because you skip through most of it. Now I have fetch quests that are buggy and need fish oil to be a space ninja. Iradite is also a reward from Bounties. You can technically trade for them.
