The price per night at Manoir des Douets Fleuris was slightly more than we had hoped to pay but after seeing the noisy, closet sized rooms offered in Cancale (which had no Internet or parking) it was apparent that there really was no better choice than the Manoir des Douets Fleuris! "All fur coats and no knickers" Therefore the convenience and ease of not having to drive to eat out is fantastic .

All but the first hundred yards or so of the walk is paved. Yes, it offers wheelchair access and reduced mobility rooms. The food we were offered bore no resemblance to the main menu in the lovely restaurant. Cerasy welcomed us warmly and showed us to our room. You have to have a car to reach the hotel which is outside townThe room was nice and comfortable. Service was also very friendly and helpful. No food available.Dear Madam, We tank you to share you impressions with us! It would be difficult to improve the localization, that is why, we advise you to come carried. Beautifully restored stone manor house in a horsey area just outside of Cancale, and not far from a large Super-U (with good fuel prices and a cashier). Polite helpful check in. Very good breakfast.

We stopped and viewed many hotel rooms before finally happening upon Manoir des Douets Fleuris. Our restaurant has closed five yaers ago.

Although surprised at this attitude we figured we were there now and said we would take the room and waited whilst the sofa bed wasEverything about this hotel is good - even though it is further out of Cancale than the web site states ( probably a translation issue ) . On meeting the Madame at reception we were informed they had had a cancellation and there was one room left, which we were shown to in a manner which was hardly warm and friendly. Are there any historical sites close to Manoir des Douets Fleuris?Many travelers enjoy visiting Musée Jacques Cartier (4.4 miles), Malouinière de la Ville-Bague (2.2 miles), and Les Rochers Sculptes (4.4 miles). Looking forward to opening our doors again! Free private parking is provided at the Manoir des Douets Fleuris, making it easy to explore Brittany by car. very nice room and other facilities in hotel, A pity the elevator for the luggage did not work so we had to carry the suitcase up in the winding stairs.

Busstop (Quatrevais) is nearby, we used a taxi to arrive from St Malo (approx 25 euros).We arrived in Cancale expecting to stay at another hotel. When my partner politely mentioned that we had been offered two adjoining rooms for just under the price of this one room in another establishment, we were advised "to take the two rooms then"! The waiting staff were arrogant and rude, and the owner didn't seem to grasp that no-one knew how the hotel was to deal with half board guests. Nice little garden and pool area.
